Cancure is hosting its first event 
Introduction
The Ride for Life is a real event that has come to light in small areas across the world. It involves a horseback 'race' over a set distance with no prizes (don't worry, we'll have prizes!) and it is all done to raise money for primarily cancer charities.
Our purpose is greatly the same apart from instead of you donating to us, we'll give out prizes to you. Also, we will be giving special prizes for the best dressed horse and/or rider and more!
Rules
- You do NOT have to be HorseArt-RPG registered to enter this event, but must have a stables
- You do not need to own a Cancure to participate, although it is advised. Special imports for this event can be seen below
- No reusable line arts are allowed
- You may trace but it is not recommended
- All breeds may be used but no powers can be used during the race
- All teams must register but the registration is open until the deadline
- Riders under 12 may participate but must be accompanied by an adult (only one horse has to be shown)
- Backgrounds are not compulsory but heavily advised. Photographic backgrounds will count as no background
- Both horses and ponies may participate
- All images must be full body, unless I have given it the OK, and include a rider
- Horse and rider combinations may only enter once, although a stable can enter as many other pairs as they want

Registration
Pre-registration is required for the Ride for Life as everybody will be given a starting number on a ribbon co-ordinating with their chosen colour(s) to hang around their horse's neck. Note Elantair with the following form completed;

The Ride for life will be a ten (10) kilometre ride through the countryside of the Scottish Highlands. Your accommodation and boarding will be at Oak Brooke Stables (the facilities of which you can see in Elantair' gallery).The race's path can be seen seen here;
Roads will be blocked off so there will be no traffic (not that there was much anyway!). It is recommended that your horses are fully shoed on all fours and are comfortable around livestock and on different terrains.
Weather:
It is a clear day, with only a few clouds in the sky but it is windy and cold as it is Autumn. Bear in mind the trees are mostly evergreens though! Expect big waves too! Riders are advised to dress warm.
Judging
The judging for this event will be done out of 100 overall. Each category will be out of 100 and then divided to obtain the correct percentage. At the end they will all be added together and the highest percentage wins!
